The hand-held BolaWrap 100 is an early engagement tool intended to reduce the need and frequency for pain-inflicting or injurious use of force. It was designed alongside law enforcement with a focus on the complex problem of interacting with the mentally ill. Its remote restraint device discharges an eight-foot bola style Kevlar® tether at 640 feet per second to entangle a subject at a range of 10-25 feet.
Benefits
Small - light and operable by an officer using support hand

Safe - designed to remotely restrain without uncontrolled falls
Durable - weather resistant and rugged
Quick refresh - rapid cartridge refresh to support multiple wraps
BolaWrap is the only remote response to resistance tool that ensures a safe space between subject and officer, does not rely on pain compliance, and is specifically designed to be deployed early in an engagement.
